Protégé Eligibility

25 top performers will be selected to participate as a protégé in this program at a cost of $575 plus tax.  Applications of up-and-coming, high performance, finance professionals are now being accepted.

All protégés must be identified as a high potential, future leader in finance professional.

How Does the Program Work?

Once accepted into the program, mentors and protégés in Quebec* and Toronto will be invited to exclusive, facilitated, virtual mentor/protégé events.

These virtual events will start with introductory messages to establish an overarching theme or feature a keynote speaker before being split into “breakout” rooms to enable easier networking and smaller group discussions. A facilitator will lead the discussion, but mentors and protégés are encouraged to forge their own relationships during these virtual events.

For those participating in Calgary, all upcoming Mentor Advantage events are expected to be in-person whilst following local social distancing guidelines. However, this can be subject to change, depending on provincial guidelines surrounding in-person events.

If you are unable to attend any of the virtual (or in-person) networking events, FEI Canada will do our utmost to make virtual introductions to those mentors and protégés who have similar backgrounds and/or work in similar industries.

After you have begun to build a mentor/protégé relationship, we encourage you take that conversation onto LinkedIn, email and/or cell number. One-on-one in-person meetings will be at the discretion of the mentor.

* The program in Quebec for 2022-23 is now full and is accepting applications for the 2023-24 session.
